A custom home designed for a working professional couple with a passion for photography and an active home-based business.  The two-story great room lets valuable daylight in from all four sides.  Special program requirements included a primary suite with library and laundry room; his- and hers separate offices; a packing and shipping room; twin guest suites; spaces for photo storage, printing, and mounting; a darkroom, and a gym. Heavy timber and log posts pay homage to the local vernacular. Tall patio doors take in the ocean view while the outdoor kitchen is shielded from rain and wind.
