With over 40 years of diversified experience as architect, planner, urban designer, and General Contractor, Richard brings a unique set of skills to each of his projects. He combines the practical needs of his clients with his ability to create solutions that are functional, aesthetically satisfying, and economical to construct.
As the Architect, Richard’s work has covered a wide range of projects large and small: master community planning, urban renewal development, new single-family custom and ‘spec’ homes, townhouses, multi-family apartments, neighborhood shops, warehouses, retail, food service and office interiors, and numerous alterations and additions.
As the General Contractor, Richard has brought his creations to fruition with particular focus on economy, detail, and ease of construction. He has built 17 custom and for-sale homes of his own design, three retail shopping centers, and several residential remodels. Richard has also critiqued the designs of other architects, sharing his experience and knowledge to make their projects even more successful.
Richard has completed projects in New York City, Washington D.C., Florida, the Bahamas, North Carolina, Connecticut, Oregon, Mexico, and Colorado.
His work has been featured in the New York Times, Washington Post, Miami Herald, Denver Post, and Suncoast Magazine.
