Modern Sculptural Home
Boulder, Colorado
Designed and built by Richard Lefcourt for his own family on a challenging sloped site in North Boulder, this 3,500 square foot, four-bedroom home makes the most of its difficult terrain - tucking a two-car garage and playroom into the lower level. Remote-controlled operable clerestory windows on the upper level provide natural ventilation. The maintenance-free exterior of cement stucco, factory-finished steel roofing, and aluminum-clad windows was chosen for longevity. A modern sculptural composition designed to resist obsolescence.
