Mountain-View Home

A 3-story 3154 square foot custom home designed and built by the Architect with 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a study, kitchen, breakfast room, formal living room, formal dining room, family room, 918 square foot 3-car garage and 800 square feet of decks and balcony. The unique design evolved from the driveway access to the front of the house combined with the mountain view from that same front of the house. The steep slope of the site dictated access to the rear yard from the middle level. Homage to Frank Lloyd Wright is paid by the oversized roof overhangs and the horizontality of the design that contrasts with the massive planters framing the main deck. Stucco, cement tile roofing, and aluminum clad windows are the principal building materials.
