Woods of Rolling Hills, Housing Development

Davie, Florida

Woods of Rolling Hills is a 186-home community of one- and two-story patio homes in Davie, Florida, clustered around a man-made lake created from excavated sand. Lefcourt Architecture provided site planning and designed three model homes ranging from 1,150 to 1,350 square feet, each available with buyer options including a courtyard, family room, or one-car garage. The street layout was carefully planned to preserve as many of the site's mature pine trees as possible, giving the community a wooded character uncommon in South Florida residential development. The project sold out in six months.
