Basement Finish
and Guest Suite

An existing 1100 square foot unfinished basement was designed and built out by the Architect to include a media space, children’s play space, and a guest suite. Great care was given to incorporating the existing pipe columns into an intentional, coherent design. Space planning involved working with existing hvac and water heating equipment, overhead ductwork, and plumbing lines. A new window well was created to provide proper egress below an existing outdoor deck. Cabinetry was included for the owner’s audio – video equipment and a dry bar for entertaining guests.
